I'm the creator and illustrator of Lil' Beastea. I have always created artwork, but now I'm at the a cross roads of what to do after college. I want to get a head start on it. So many questions come with this whole "head start" thing many people face when stuck in a hard spot.
One of the most important questions I asked was: What is it I actually want to do? I hsven’t find the answer for sure yet, but I found my current art passion once I began college.
During this time, I found plants to be a medium I could grow and draw at the same time. Sniffing around, I managed to find a botanical Illustration book documenting Margaret Me, a botanical illustrator who traveled to the Amazons to paint the flora, her illustrations flipped a switch for me. Botanical Illustration is what I wanted to do.
I love every artistic and scientific aspect of it. Botanical Illustration is what I want to focus on and make it my lifestyle. Currently, I’m getting my BFA at the UWYO and getting my Botanical Illustrator Certification at the same time I love every second of it
